It’s fair to say I’ve become a tad obsessed with all things printed lately. Apologies if you’re not a fan of the analog approach but I just had to share a couple of inspiring links that I found this week. Vandalay Design have a gallery of letterpress business cards HERE it’s a shame I still have boxes of cards lying around the studio otherwise I’d be seriously tempted to head in this direction when reprinting. Pressing Letter “is an effort to catalog and promote creativity in our expanding letterpress community. Studios and individuals are invited to submit letterpress work, references, links or anything else that would be beneficial to others.” You can view the site HERE.

Whilst my experience of creating packaging is very limited I must confess when it comes to purchasing I am more than a little swayed by the outer wrappings of a product. Here’s a great gallery from Dzine Blog with some inspiring package designs.

Whilst that may sound like a line from ‘Anchorman’ it’s true, I just the love the rain. Sadly I’ve been unable to get outside to enjoy it this weekend but it is still tipping it down and I love it. I love the noise on the window, going for walks with the fam and the sight of the rain bouncing up from the ground. This gallery from Smashing Magazine has a few great examples of rain in all it’s glory – there are links from that page to other galleries they have posted all well worth checking out for some instant inspiration.
