Poster Cabaret

October 26th, 2009

I think I may need to move to a house or studio with a lot more wall space. Found the site Poster Cabaret (HERE) over the weekend. Featuring quite a few artists previously mentioned on this blog it is a great place to find hundreds of fantastic art prints and gig posters from well-known leading artists.

Now Playing…

September 9th, 2009

I totally agree with Mike Kus over at Carsonified – I work so much better with a soundtrack and and always intrigued by the effect music can have. You can read his article HERE. Right now I’m listening to Imogen Heap’s latest album ‘Ellipse’ almost constantly, check it out HERE I also loved the video she made for canvas, the image below is taken from it.

Heartless Video

August 17th, 2009

Saw this video of The Fray covering Kanye West’s Heartless and thought the interaction of doodles and live footage worked really well. It’s not that this hand drawn approach hasn’t been done before it’s just very slick and appropriate for the music. Definitely worth a watch!

Totally Classy

May 6th, 2009

Found these CD cover design on Graphic Exchange. Having recently completed a CD cover and face project, I realise it’s a tricky brief to crack and even harder to create something fresh and distinctive. Check out the full set HERE.

The Most Unlikely Places

December 4th, 2008

I’m probably the last person to discover KanYe West’s blog but I’ve been really suprised by it’s content. It’s not all stuff I’d feel happy putting on my site but it is littered with some great finds and inspiring links, seef or yourself here.
